THE VENTCORE VENTILATION SYSTEM REQUIRES A FIRE SYSTEM COMMISSIONING BEFORE FIRST USE.

  1. Call Evo America, LLC at 503-626-1802 and request VentCore Fire System Commissioning.
  2. Provide the complete business name and address; and specific location if necessary (such as room number, suite number, floor, etc.).
  3. Provide a name of a contact person and phone number to schedule commissioning process.
  4. Exact unit quantities of VentCore systems and an individual list of serial numbers.
  5. Expected “go live date” (when you anticipate to begin using the VentCore system).
  6. Evo America, LLC will select a local Authorized Fire System Contractor in proximity to your business address and notify them to schedule a commissioning of the fire suppression system.
  7. If required, the Authorized Fire System Contractor will make contact with the local municipal jurisdiction to request a fire system permit. The cost associated with the fire system permit is the responsibility of the end-customer purchaser of the VentCore system.
  8. Following the local municipal jurisdiction approval, if required, the Authorized Fire System Contractor will schedule a time with you, the end-customer purchaser, to conduct the process of commissioning the fire suppression system. The commissioning process will likely take 1 hour per cooking station.
  9. Note that some jurisdictions may require the cooking station to be interfaced to the building fire alarm system, if present. VentCore cooking systems are designed to be supervised by a building fire alarm system.

Keep in mind that with all commercial fire suppression systems, there are semi-annual inspections and servicing of the VentCore Fire Suppression Equipment that is required per local, state and National codes, as well as your local Authorized Fire System Contractor’s product policy and warranty. This semi-annual inspection is to be negotiated and scheduled directly between the end-customer purchaser of the VentCore system and the local Authorized Fire System Contractor.

Evo America, LLC. warrants to the original commercial foodservice purchaser that the Evo VentCore recirculating ventilation system will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original installation date, or 90 days after shipment, whichever is earlier. Evo’s obligation under this
warranty shall be limited to replacing or repairing, at its option, any part found to be defective within the specified warranty period. Any labor expense or part failure
incurred after the warranty period will be the responsibility of the end user. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser/owner to whom the Evo VentCore was delivered. Any such transfer shall void the warranty.

The end-user purchasing an Evo product to which this warranty applies is urged to register their product online by completing our warranty registration form.

Upon registration, the warranty period will commence as provided above.

The VentCore includes five (5) filters that must be monitored and cleaned regularly to prevent grease infiltration that will impede the efficient operation of the unit
and may cause damage to components. Cleaning and maintenance instructions are included in the VentCore Operators Manual and Evo Startup and training.
Service calls and/or part replacement resulting from lack of maintenance will not be covered under this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER HIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  1. Damage, part failure or performance issues resulting from lack of regular filter cleaning and maintenance as detailed in the VentCore Operator Manual, and Evo provided training. Cost of repair calls scheduled by Evo during the warranty period and found to be resulting from lack of filter maintenance will be charged to the end user.
  2. Any defect or cosmetic damage to the chassis cabinetry or any removable internal ventilation access doors due to or resulting from ordinary wear and tear, handling, abuse, misuse or during installation.
  3. Any damage resulting from voltage conditions, blown fuses, open circuit breakers or any other damage due to the inadequacy or interruption of electrical service.
  4. Any unit from which the serial number has been removed or altered, or modifications made by unauthorized service personnel.
  5. Damages as a result of floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive environment, improper installation or installation not in accordance with local electrical
    codes.

IMPORTANT: THE DISCHARGE OF THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM IS LIKELY TO DAMAGE THE VENTCORETM UNIT. THIS WARRANTY IS NO LONGER
VALID AFTER THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM IS DISCHARGED. NOTIFY EVO IF THE FIRE SYSTEM IS DISCHARGED FOR PROPER CLEANUP
PROCEDURE AND/OR REPAIR SCHEDULING.

Evo America, LLC, or its suppliers, shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, under any circumstances for consequential or incidental damages, including, but not limited to: (i) any loss of business or profits; and (ii) labor, material or other charges, claims losses or damages incurred or suffered from, in connection with or in consequence of the working upon, alteration, or repair of any such defective products or parts by persons or firms other than contracted directly by Evo. Evo will contact the site to obtain details and ask diagnostic questions, and Evo will schedule an authorized warranty service provider. If necessary, Evo will send the required parts directly to the customer location to hold for a technician.
