Seared Trout

The Evo grill is perfect for cooking fresh fish!

  • 1 whole trout
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon butter


  1. Season the trout with preferred spices to taste. Slice the lemon into two halves.
  2. Heat the Evo grill to Medium or Medium High. Place the pat of butter on the Evo cook surface, wait for it to melt, and them place the seasoned trout on top of the melted butter.
  3. Sear the first side of the trout to a golden brown color and then flip it over to sear the other side. If the trout is large, you will have to reduce the cook surface temperature to finish cooking.
  4. When the trout is nearly done, squeeze fresh lemon over the top.
  5. Serve immediately, Enjoy!
